VALÉRIE DEMONT

The Challenge

Valérie was launching into a crowded market of self-help and conscious business books. With a small existing audience (~130), the goal was to stand out, build credibility, and reach thousands of ideal readers who don't hang out in typical online spaces.

The Strategy

Positioning that cut through the noise:
Developed marketing copy that differentiated Valérie's book from dozens of similar titles — speaking directly to the exhaustion, fear, and unmet needs of high-level entrepreneurs who'd tried everything else.

Data-backed creative decisions:
Ran live title and cover tests with the target audience, removing guesswork and landing on choices proven to resonate before launch day.

Strategic media placement:
Valérie guested on ~10 top-rated podcasts (and counting) before launch using a custom outreach strategy — putting her message directly in front of engaged, aligned audiences.

Pre-launch momentum:
Generated sales calls from podcast and launch activity before the book was even live — proof the positioning and messaging were working. Being is the New Doing, as an indie book, was featured in Penguin Random House notable books for Women’s History Month 2026.
